- Complete and submit the LHNA-EP Residential Questionnaire.
- Create your Family Emergency Plan. Practice it with your family.
- Order your Reflective Rural Address Signs.
- Sign up for your county’s Emergency Alert Program.
- Talk to your neighbors, share contacts, inform them of the community emergency plan efforts, the importance of being prepared, and encourage them to be involved.

- Get trained. Classes to consider: LHNA-EP Training Class, CERT, First Aid/CPR, Search and Rescue, Ham Radio Operator, Disaster Relief. Look here for resources.
Remember…. it is far better to have a plan and supplies that you do not use, rather than finding yourself in a disaster without them!
