Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association – Emergency Plan (LHNA-EP)
Dear Neighbors,
Are You Prepared in the Event of a Major Disaster? This website
contains information and resources to help you and your family be prepared in the event of a disaster. Individual preparedness, planning, and survival skills of each household member and mutual aid with neighbors helping neighbors are essential in coping with a disaster.
Through the efforts of volunteers, the Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association (LHNA) is working on creating the Ladd Hill Neighborhood Association – Emergency Plan (known as LHNA-EP) to assist in a disaster. LHNA-EP will provide us an immediate course of action until public services are able to reach our area using the volunteer manpower and resources of our neighborhood.
Each household will need to be prepared with their own emergency plan and supply kits in order to be self sufficient for food, water, first aid, medications, and communications. Plan to maintain your family, pets, and livestock for a minimum of two weeks, or longer in case of a large scale event. Talk to your neighbors to encourage them to have their own emergency kits ready for their families too.
This website will assist you, and provide information on how to build your own Family Emergency Plan. Information will include:
-
- Bug Out Bag (contains supplies if you need to relocate)
Please check this web-site frequently, as we will be posting new and informative articles designed to help you with your emergency planning and preparations.
